Evidence about the links between health and employment status during COVID-19 – the 2020 issue of “The Hungarian Labour Market”

The 2020 issue of “The Hungarian Labour Market” primarily discusses the links between health and employment status, and covers the labour market and policy effects of the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic as well.

In one of the studies published in the book, we review the labour market status of workers with disabilities and the role of demand-side policy instruments.

In another chapter, we present and evaluate the 2008 and 2012 changes to the system of disability benefits.

In a third paper, we review the policy challenges Hungarian policy-makers had to face during the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.

More information about some of our other work published in previous volumes of The Hungarian Labour Market is available here.
