Peer review on impact evaluations of Active Labour Market Policies

The Peer Review on impact evaluations of Active Labour Market Policies (ALMPs) took place in Riga in December 2024, bringing together government officials and experts from Latvia, the European Commission and 12 EU peer countries. The event focused on exchanging good practices in counterfactual impact evaluation, data access and quality, and the use of evaluation results in policymaking.
The Budapest Institute participated as a country  evaluation expert, preparing the Hungarian Peer Country  paper and contributing expertise at the Peer Review. BI provided insights into government evaluation practices, data environment and policy use of ALMP evidence, supporting mutual learning and strengthening evaluation capacity across EU member states.
