The role of the Roma Education Fund in the European Roma policy space

The Budapest Institute was called by the Roma Education Fund (REF) to conduct an expert review and strategic assessment on the role and organizational strategy of the REF in the European Roma education public policy scene in partnership with the REF.

On the basis of a desk research, document analysis, expert interviews and qualitative methods we provided specific situation and stakeholder analysis by reviewing recent policy developments and the main stakeholders in the European Union with regard to Roma education policies. On behalf of this analysis we provided the REF with recommendations for an effective communication and networking in the EU and fine-tuning the organizational strategy of the foundation.
