Early intervention and job-to-job transitions: the evolving role of PESDevelopments in technology, as well as the triple transitions, are likely to reshape jobs in the near future. Accordingly, the majority of European PES are now reaching out to employed vulnerable persons, and they are increasingly providing skills assessments and upskilling activities these persons. A Thematic Review Workshop of the EU PES Network in Lithuania in September 2024 examined innovative preventive services. It focused on: 1) career counselling for more job-to-job transitions; 2) upskilling of employees to prevent job loss; 3) engaging with and providing services for employers; 4) targeting and evaluating preventive services. | Project details | The Budapest Institute was commissioned by ICF International on behalf of EU DG EMPL to provide thematic support for the Workshop. Márton Csillag (lead researcher) wrote both the thematic Input Paper, and the Thematic Paper following the Workshop.
