Individual Learning Accounts concept for Hungary

Led by Fondazione Brodolini, this project developed a concept for introducing individual learning accounts (ILA) in Hungary. BI experts supported the first part of the project: we prepared a chapter mapping the supply and demand for skills, edited a report summarising institutional conditions and skills needs, and developed the monitoring and evaluation approach for the proposed scheme. Our work also involved conducting some stakeholder interviews and consultations with experts from other countries where ILA had been used successfully. The final report was published by the European Commission in December 2024.

The project was implemented by an international team including experts from Hungary, Italy and the UK, managed by Fondazione Brodolini (Italy) and funded by the European Commission via the Technical Support Instrument. BI was subcontracted by Fondazione Brodolini.
