Estimating the impact of targeted wage subsidies

In this project we estimated the labour market effects of two related wage subsidy schemes introduced in Hungary in July 2007. Both offer a reduction on employers' social security contributions for up to two years, with a larger subsidy for low qualified and older workers. We reported our first results in a draft paper, and added more detailed cost benefit calculations in the latest version.
