Evaluation of the Advocacy Coalition Pilot Programme of the Polgár Foundation for Equal Opportunities

In this project BI has carried out the qualitative evaluation of the Advocacy Coalition Pilot Programme designed and implemented by the Polgár Foundation for Equal Opportunities between Autumn 2018 and Spring 2021.

The Advocacy Coalition programme supporting Roma bottom-up initiatives (especially those focusing on Roma advocacy) and facilitating cooperation between interested organizations and stakeholders provided training, individual mentoring, supported local development efforts and ran a national campaign focusing on the challenges of electricity poverty.

The evaluation was based on desktop research, stakeholder and expert interviews and an anonymous online survey filled in by participants.

BI elaborated strategic and programme management-related recommendations relevant for the next programme period; those were finalised in collaboration with the Polgár Foundation in the framework of a participatory workshop.
