PES to PES dialogue in Europe

Public employment services (PES) play an important role in reducing unemployment and preventing long-term unemployment, especially during the current slow recovery from the global financial crisis. To help meet this challenge the European Commission has launched a new programme for the exchange of good practice across PES in EU member states.

In this programme we prepare expert reports and organise workshops for civil servants, with the aim to assess existing good practices, identify effective and transferable solutions, and to assist the adaptation of best practices.

The programme is realised jointly by the London-based ICF-GHK Consulting and Budapest Institute. Interested readers may follow events on the project’s website.
