Education in the service of employability, equity and adaptability

The Hungarian Pedagogical Society has commissioned the Budapest Institute to carry out background research toward its “Education in the service of employability, equity and adaptability” project. The aim of the project was to identify the problems of the Hungarian educational system by a diagnosis of the past twenty years and develop recommendations for policy intervention for the solution of the problems found.

As part of the work to develop the educational strategy the Budapest Institute surveyed the opinion of nearly 200 educational experts using the so-called Delphi methodology.

In order to sound out the opinions and attitudes of the potentially affected social groups and organizations concerning the recommendations proposed, twenty-seven stakeholder interviews were also carried out by the Budapest Institute.
