Description | The Budapest Institute held a two-day training session on Programme Evaluation and Social Policy Experimentation - the practice of testing new ideas and policies and collecting evidence about the real impact of programmes on people – organised by the new European-based Network for Social Policy Analysis for Robust Knowledge (SPARK). The project is part of a larger initiative by the EU Directorate General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion, “Support Services for Social Policy Experimentation in the EU”, to promote the benefits of social policy experimentation throughout the EU. The training was preceded by information sessions in February 2014, held by the Budapest Institute as well. The project is managed by the LSE Enterprise and the Alliance for Useful Evidence.
