Summer Internship at the Budapest Institute

The Budapest Institute is looking for summer interns for at least 4-week periods. Interns can expect to have hands-on experience in ongoing projects and be supervised by senior researchers.

We expect you to have:

- completed at least 2 years of university-level studies in Economics or in other Social Sciences,

- demonstrated interest in public policy and policy analysis,

- advanced writing skills in English,

- average GPA of at least 3.5.

It is an advantage if you have:

- knowledge of any of the following languages: Hungarian, Romanian, Bulgarian, Czech, Slovak, Polish or Croatian,

- MA studies in progress,

- a solid knowledge of statistics and/or a specific analytical method,

- previous research experience.

Conditions:

- at least 4 consecutive weeks of work,
- we can not offer remuneration,
- flexible working hours, working partly at the office of the Budapest Institute and partly from home
