Type | Workshop | |
Date | 30/09/2015 | |
Description | The Czech Republic recently introduced a new form of daycare for pre-school aged children, which is more informal and cheaper than nurseries. In the first part of the workshop, Jana Válková (University of Bruno, Czech Republic) gave an overview of the Czech system and described the recent regulatory changes. In the second part participants discussed how the Czech example may inspire policy makers in Hungary in redesigning the regulations on family daycare centres (családi napközi). The workshop was supported by the COST network. | |
