Feasibility study for the Józsefváros 0-23 educational programme

Commissioned by the Municipality of Józsefváros (VIIIth district of Budapest), the Budapest Institute is preparing the feasibilty research of the Just School / Józsefváros 0-23 programme.

By reviewing available online resources and databases, reviewing prior education policy and sociology literature, and conducting 3-8 research interviews with stakeholders within the timeframe of the contract, the Budapest Institute provides textual input to summarize the goals and vision of the proposed reform ( for co-decision makers). It also reviews possible sub-programs (kindergarten reform, school choice support, schools, head teacher funding, differentiated teacher salary, "IPR", etc.); maps the local education field: institutions, stakeholders (including nurse service, schools, kindergartens, kindergartens, primary and secondary schools, the Roma minority, neighboring districts, etc.) and draws up a plan of involvement for local institutions, stakeholders (including order and channels of involvement).

Project details

The Budapest Institute research team (also involving outside experts in the sociology of education) produces a written report for the vice-mayor.
